There's No Road Coming Back This Way...

The Twilight Zone

You might have something to say that isn't easily verbalized, yet language is still the best vehicle for now. The problem is that actions won't speak louder than words today, for it is unlikely that you can demonstrate what you are feeling. There is great intensity in your words, but the circumstances of your conversation may require you to take it quite slowly. You can safely rely on your determination to make sure that you'll reach your destination.

That is my horoscope for today. Sometimes those things hit closer to home than I like. I know that relationships aren't always easy, but damn. I'm 32 and done playing games. Been there, done that, and threw the freakin T shirt away. My patience is being tested right now. Tell me something, do all of you guys keep it bottled up? Emotions, I mean. Do you all expect us to be able to read minds? Can any of you communicate? Sorry, but I got dumped the other day. Via text message, for something I didn't even know was bothering him. 24 or not, none of that's right. I got him to talk to me and we are still together, but he's on very shaky ground right now. I don't how to demonstrate what I'm feeling, when I don't know what I'm feeling. Warning to anyone that decides to piss me off today... It won't be pretty.

You really do a need to be a mind reader if you're to get inside our heads and find out what's really going on.

Unfortunately, being a man and expressing emotion is simply not on - it's a sign of weakness.

I know it's all pretty stupid, but with British men at least, it's all part of our "Stiff upper lip" rubbish.

Still, you do appear to be going about things the right way and I admire your perseverance.
